the one with the goodbye



Any Friends lovers out there? If you're a true fan, you'll know that my titles are kind of stolen from Friends. Every episode of Friends is called "The one with . . . " just like my blog. Or, I guess, my blogs titles start "the one with . . . " just like Friends episodes :)

I fell in love with Friends shortly after I fell in love with Russ :) For the first two months of our marriage, Russ and I stayed at my boss's house because she was out of the country. My boss happens to own the entire Friends series, so, though I had never seen an episode before, Russ and I started watching them together, and that's the first series we watched from start to finish.

Don't you worry. I cried the last couple episodes because those guys really became some of our best friends. Pathetic, right? :)

But just like I had to say goodbye to my "friends," I think with a new year starting, it's time to say goodbye to the Friends-inspired titles. But before I do, let's enjoy a few great moments from Friends:

A murder mystery been on my "party list" for ages, but I've never gotten around to throwing one (probably because there are too many other ideas on my party list haha). So even though we were planning to do Harry Potter movie parties every Friday and Saturday in October, when my friend asked if we'd be available for a murder mystery, I told her I would rearrange my schedule to be there! Lately I have been looking for a nice purse. I always carry a bag around, and so I want something that looks nicer and more grown-up. Trouble is, I can't make up my mind! So for today's 5 on Friday, I'm showing the options I have. it's a love story {part 5}

This series is turning into a novel! So if you don't want to read  part 1 ,  part 2 ,  part 3 , or  part 4 , I wouldn't blame you. But if you do, there you go :) Part Five - First Date . . . or Second? When we last left off, Russ and I were finally interacting more and we both knew that we liked each other. But he still hadn't asked me on a date! But sometime in early December, he finally remedied that. On a Thursday, he asked me if I would go stargazing with him on the coming Sunday evening. I was super excited :) But in the meantime, he kind of asked me on a different first date, but I didn't really know it.
