Apparently, a lot of people don't decorate for Thanksgiving. And honestly, I can see why, because over the years as I've browsed Pinterest for ideas, it's honestly way harder to find decor I like for Thanksgiving than it is to find decor for Halloween or Christmas. There's a lot of fall decor, but I like decor that is more specifically "Thanksgiving." A few years ago, I made a Thanksgiving Turkey art piece that I still love. I also did the gold-tipped feather garland, "so blessed" pumpkin, bunch of wheat, and filled hurricane vase in past years. But this year I really finished up the whole Thanksgiving look with my pie garland , "thanks and giving" printable , and my "thankful" garland. I love to decorate for holidays. I do the most for Christmas, but I also enjoy decorating for other holidays. Usually my decor is limited to the mantel, with the possibility of a garland over the living room window and/or a wreath on the front door, but I think I'm kind of starting to expand some decorations so that they're creeping into other areas of the house, too. So far, my Halloween decorations aren't too out of hand, but there are enough that I wanted to compile all the pics in once place :) ^^This piece is new this year! Russ and I usually do three different celebrations of Christmas--one with his family , one with mine , and one just the two of us. But this year, Christmas for us just never happened! We kept talking about when we would do it, or what kind of gifts we would buy each other, but we just never solidified anything. At one point, I proposed just giving "one thoughtful gift" to each other (because I hate the idea of saying "Hey I want that purple shirt in a size medium" and then opening that up on Christmas Day because it was obviously something that he had to put zero thought into). However, that kind of just made me feel pressure, so then we weren't sure what we were going to do and then we never did anything! However, it seemed to work for us this year.
