the one with a BABY!

No, no. Not a baby for Russ and me. We're still newly-weds :)

But a baby for my brother Brandon and his wife, Amy!

While we were in Idaho this past weekend (post soon to come), little miss Hadley Ann decided to come a whole month early! When Brandon told me that Amy had had the baby, and I straight up thought he was lying. 

But no! She's here! She's currently in the NICU but things seem to be going pretty well. Russ and I got to meet the little angel last night :)





She's super cute :) I usually think babies look like aliens, but I don't think Hadley does. Russ says it's because we're blood-related. Who knows?

 I actually felt like I was going to faint while we were in there. All the beeping monitors freaked me out! Hopefully she'll be out soon so that I can actually hold her in a stress-free environment :)

A murder mystery been on my "party list" for ages, but I've never gotten around to throwing one (probably because there are too many other ideas on my party list haha). So even though we were planning to do Harry Potter movie parties every Friday and Saturday in October, when my friend asked if we'd be available for a murder mystery, I told her I would rearrange my schedule to be there! Lately I have been looking for a nice purse. I always carry a bag around, and so I want something that looks nicer and more grown-up. Trouble is, I can't make up my mind! So for today's 5 on Friday, I'm showing the options I have. one.  Remember that secret I mentioned last week ? Well I guess I'll tell you now, only it's in a sad way rather than an excited way. We were contemplating moving to England for six months sometime next year (around May). It was a secret because we hadn't decided whether or not we were going to do it yet. But now we've made our decision, and we're not doing it. But I figured I should still mention it since I left you all hanging last week. Someday . . .  two.  As I browse blogs, I often come across bloggers wearing adorable clothes and linking up where they got the clothes from. They always say stuff like "I got this amazing dress, and it's so affordable! " I'm amazed to see what prices people call "affordable."
