st. patrick's day cutie

I've never really cared for St. Patrick's Day; it's not even a holiday I decorate for (and we all know how I love to decorate!). But now that I've got a baby, I love any excuse to dress her up for a theme :) She only had one green clothing item, so luckily I caught some pictures before she got it all messy :) I knew she didn't have any matching headbands, so I got the idea to quickly make her a lucky clover headband, and I think it turned out so cute! It was my favorite part of the outfit :)

our first murder mystery

A murder mystery been on my "party list" for ages, but I've never gotten around to throwing one (probably because there are too many other ideas on my party list haha). So even though we were planning to do Harry Potter movie parties every Friday and Saturday in October, when my friend asked if we'd be available for a murder mystery, I told her I would rearrange my schedule to be there! Haha :) When the actual invitation came, I was super impressed because it was so themed and legit! Diana went above and beyond -- the kit they bought (from  Night of Mystery ) came with invitations, but she had someone design different ones that were so awesome. Lately I have been looking for a nice purse. I always carry a bag around, and so I want something that looks nicer and more grown-up. Trouble is, I can't make up my mind! So for today's 5 on Friday, I'm showing the options I have. one.  Remember that secret I mentioned last week ? Well I guess I'll tell you now, only it's in a sad way rather than an excited way. We were contemplating moving to England for six months sometime next year (around May). It was a secret because we hadn't decided whether or not we were going to do it yet. But now we've made our decision, and we're not doing it. But I figured I should still mention it since I left you all hanging last week. Someday . . .  two.  As I browse blogs, I often come across bloggers wearing adorable clothes and linking up where they got the clothes from. They always say stuff like "I got this amazing dress, and it's so affordable! " I'm amazed to see what prices people call "affordable."
