    Oh my gooooosh! They really are all SO CUTE! I vote pink, but pink is kind of my favorite! Which pair will go best with most of your clothes?

      I know, that's why I struggle--they're all too cute! But I'm not sure what will go best with my clothes. These shoes are all crazy colors/patterns instead of neutrals, so I'm torn. I want them, but if I get them, idk if I'll get to wear them enough! Haha :)

      I decided to be responsible and not get any of them. Mostly because the ones I like the most are the ones my husband likes the least . . . which sadly affects my desire to buy them. Haha :) But I think my faves were #1 because they're crazier than any of my other shoes, which I like :)

Russ and I have been trying to get pregnant for 16 months now. 16 very long months. We've done one fertility test on Russ, which came back fine. I kind of refuse to believe there is anything wrong. Like, I know it obviously isn't as easy for us as many other couples, but I believe it's due to trying at the wrong time for a while (because I don't fit into the normal 28-day-cycle, therefore I do not ovulate around day 14 or anywhere near it), possibly due to me not eating super healthy all the time, possibly due to some sort of imbalance which is aided by my diabetes, possibly something I haven't even thought of. I honestly in my heart do not believe there is anything incurably wrong with me, I just haven't quite figured out how to tweak everything yet. getaway weekend

Ohhhh getaway weekends. I'm not about painting a picture-perfect life on this little blog of mine. I paint the real thing--real life, real love, ya know? ;) Which, granted, is usually pretty great, but somehow, our getaway weekend started off not-so-perfect. For starters, I was supposed to pick Russ up from work at 2pm so that we would get to Logan (2-hour drive) before dinnertime. We only had about 24 hours of getaway, so I wanted to make the most of every minute! Unfortunately, everything on Friday morning went slower than expected, so not only did I not get to Russ until 3:30, but by that time I didn't even have make-up on or my hair done cute. Talk about looking good for the getaway, right? But we got on the road and got over it, mostly because Russ is nice. He wasn't mad that I was late, and he didn't care that I didn't have make-up on. Why, hello Blog World! It's been awhile. And that's because I was busy enjoying myself in Seattle with Husband and family. I will do a recap of that trip this Friday, but today I am linking up with If These Walls Could Speak and K.Gilby  for their weekly My Life in Lists link-up. The list for today is things from pinterest that have changed my life I most often use my Pinterest account for craft & fashion ideas, and occasionally for recipes. I wouldn't say any of these things are "life-changing," but I definitely enjoy seeing all the different things I can make or things that I can do with my style.
