We've had some eventful weekends lately that I just wanted to highlight: Memorial Day Russ and I have spent a lot of Saturdays working hard lately. There is a lot to do in the yard and in the house, so it seems like we haven't gotten to do many fun "summer" things yet. So I informed Russ that, while we could work all morning on Memorial Day, we would be hosting a BBQ that evening because I needed some fun in my life. The original plan was to have Mom and Dad Holmes; Lance, Kenzi, and Zander; and Lacey and Sam. However, we got some extra cousins and we didn't get Sam because he was working. Jessie, Trina, and Sam (different Sam) joined in on the fun. During the day, I did a lot of cleaning and Russ did a lot of work on the sprinkling system. Mom and Dad got to our house shortly after noon, so Dad helped Russ in the yard and Mom helped me in the kitchen! 22 weeks, 4 days...holy BUMP! How Far Along:  22 weeks, 1 day Size:  I think I'm going to stop saying all four things and just say the ones I like/feel are most helpful that week haha :) So Ada is now the size of an ear of corn and a guinea pig :) Gender:  It's a  girl ! :) Name:  Ada Charlotte :)  Movement:  Movement has been one of the hardest things for me to detect. Even as late as 21 weeks, I wasn't sure if stuff I felt inside was Ada or just like digestion stuff. Occasionally I would feel something like a heartbeat, but it really felt like a consistent heartbeat, not like an inconsistently moving baby. But lately I've felt a bit more -- little pokes and jabs. But still, not all that much movement yet. I can't wait to feel more conclusive and consistent movement :) Fun Fact:  Ada is now dreaming and can be measured from head to toe rather than crown to rump.
